Computer System

Computer system is defined as combination of components designed to process data and store files. It consists of four major hardware components such as input devices, output devices, processor and storage devices. A computer system require hardware, software and users to fully function.

Input and Input Devices

Input is any data and instructions entered into the memory of a computer. There are four types of input which are : text, graphics, audio and video.

Input devices is any hardware component that allows users to enter data and instructions into a computer. The examples of input devices are keyboard, mouse, scanner, barcode reader and joystick.

Process and Processor

The processing unit controls all activities within the system. For every instruction, the control unit repeats a set of four basics operations called the machine cycle:
